Search for jobs, companies, and talent on ClearHire. Use advanced filters to find your next opportunity or discover top candidates with verified employment history.
The unified search across ClearHire covers jobs, companies, tools, blog articles, and your private tracker entries — all in one place with category filters for narrower results. Search is fuzzy by default (typo-tolerant and synonym-aware); quoted phrases force exact matching when needed. Older content past 2 years since last review is deprioritized but still searchable. Tracker entries are private — only visible to your own searches. Use unified search for cross-category lookups; use category-specific pages (/jobs, /companies, /tools, /blog) for focused searches with category-specific filters. Search results balance relevance and recency; identical queries can produce slightly different ordering as new content lands or older content gets re-reviewed. Personalization for signed-in users is subtle by design.
Use cases
Cross-category lookup for a specific term. Searching "salary negotiation" surfaces tools, blog articles, forum threads, and your relevant tracker entries simultaneously. Useful when you do not yet know which category has the most useful result.
Finding a tool you remember but cannot name. Fuzzy matching tolerates approximation. Searching "find missing keywords resume" surfaces the keyword optimizer even though the exact name is different.
Searching your own tracker entries. Private to you. Useful for finding "that company I applied to last March" or "the role with the weird culture question". Reduces the cost of long-running searches where memory blurs across many applications.
How it works
Type your query in the search bar. Fuzzy matching by default. Use quoted phrases ("exact match") for forced exact matching when you know the exact wording.
Filter by category if results are too broad. Jobs, Companies, Tools, Blog, Tracker (private). Filter narrows; default shows all categories.
Refine with date or content-type filters. Older content is deprioritized but still searchable. Use date filters when you specifically want older content surfaced.
Save common searches as bookmarks. Some queries you will run repeatedly. Bookmarking the URL with filters preserves the exact search across sessions.
Examples
A candidate looking for a tool they used 6 months ago. Searches fuzzy term ("find missing keywords"). Tool surfaces immediately despite candidate not remembering the exact name. Saves 5 minutes of menu browsing.
Frequently asked questions
What can I search across ClearHire?
Jobs, companies, tools, blog articles, and tracker entries (your own). The unified search surfaces results across all categories; filter by category for narrower results.
Is search keyword-only or fuzzy?
Fuzzy by default — typo-tolerant and synonym-aware. Quoted phrases ("exact match") force exact matching when needed.
Why are some results not showing up?
Older content (more than 2 years past last review) may be deprioritized. Use specific filters (date range, content type) if you suspect older content is being filtered. Tracker entries are private — only visible to your own searches.
