Find answers to frequently asked questions about ClearHire. Learn about account creation, resume building, employment verification, and more.
The ClearHire FAQ answers the most common questions about accounts, billing, privacy, employment verification, app availability, and how the platform actually works. Each answer is written to be standalone — you should not need surrounding context to understand it. Per-tool questions live on each tool's own page. If a question fits both this page and a tool page, the answer here is the canonical version. This page is reviewed monthly to keep answers aligned with the current product behavior.
Use cases
Confirming ClearHire is free with no premium tier. Every feature — resume builder, job search, verified employment, 90+ career tools, gamification, blog, forums — is free. There is no premium tier, no usage cap that pushes you into paid plans, and no third-party ads.
Understanding what data ClearHire collects. For account holders: email, optional name, saved content, applications, gamification state, and feature-usage analytics. For visitors: anonymous analytics. Never bank details, government IDs, or biometric data. Full breakdown on /privacy.
Knowing where ClearHire works. Today: web (clearhire.aoneahsan.com) and Android (Google Play). In development: an iOS app and a Chrome / Firefox / Edge browser extension. The same account works across every surface you sign in on; sign in once on each device for sync.
Reporting bugs or requesting features. Use the contact form at /contact tagged as "bug report" or "feature request". Bug reports with screenshots and reproduction steps get prioritized. Feature requests are reviewed weekly.
How it works
Search the FAQ for your question first. The top of the page has a search box that matches across all answers. Most common questions are covered here; search saves a contact-form round-trip.
Check the relevant tool's page for tool-specific questions. Per-tool FAQs cover usage details (input format, account requirements, browser-only mode) that the global FAQ does not. Each tool page has its own FAQ section.
Use /contact when the FAQ does not cover your case. Tag the message appropriately ("bug", "feature", "partnership", "press"). First reply usually within 24 hours weekdays.
Examples
A user wondering if there is a hidden premium tier. Reads the FAQ entry confirming no premium exists. Skips the time spent looking for upsell prompts. Uses the product fully without account.
Frequently asked questions
How is this FAQ different from the per-tool FAQs?
This page covers ClearHire as a whole — accounts, billing, privacy, verification, app availability. Each tool page has its own FAQ specific to that tool. If a question fits both, the answer here is the canonical one.
Is ClearHire free, including all 90+ tools?
Yes. There is no premium tier, no paywall on any tool, and no usage cap that pushes you into paid plans. ClearHire runs on the Firebase free tier and FilesHub for storage, and is supported by optional donations.
Do I need an account to use ClearHire?
Most tools work signed-out (ATS check, action verbs, cold outreach drafting, etc.). An account is required to save resumes, apply to jobs, host a public profile, request employment verification, or use gamification.
Where can I install ClearHire?
Today: the web app at clearhire.aoneahsan.com and the Android app on Google Play. An iOS app and a Chrome / Firefox / Edge browser extension (which will overlay job boards with quick-apply helpers) are in development and not yet released. The same account works across every surface you sign in on.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Use the contact form at /contact, or email aoneahsan@gmail.com. Bug reports with screenshots and the URL where the issue occurs are prioritized. Feature requests are reviewed weekly.
Tips
Use the FAQ search before the contact form — most questions are answered here.
Per-tool FAQs cover usage specifics that the global FAQ does not — check the tool page too.
For security questions, read /.well-known/security.txt rather than the global FAQ.
The FAQ is reviewed monthly; if an answer feels outdated, contact support and it will be refreshed.
