ClearHire is built and maintained by one independent developer. There is no support team, no sales team and no privacy department — when you email, a person reads it.
That is stated on the page rather than left to be discovered, because it sets the right expectation about response times and about who is accountable when something breaks.

Say what it does not do
Every claim on this site is written to survive being checked. Where a limit exists it is printed next to the feature, not in a footnote.
The record belongs to the person it is about
Nothing about you is public unless you publish it, a decline is never shown to anyone else, and deletion is immediate and yours to trigger.
Ask companies for facts, never opinions
A confirmation request that carried a judgement would become a legal risk assessment, and companies would stop answering. Facts are cheap to say yes to.
Nothing is sold, and nobody is tracked for ads
There are no advertising networks in this product. The only promotions are for the developer’s own other apps. The full provider list
